Plasma vs LCD

Buying a new large screen plasma or LCD display can be very confusing. The main problem is there is so much misinformed opinion over whether plasma or LCD is better for large screen viewing.

E flat minor can provide a range of both plasma and LCD and therefore are able to give impartial advice which is supported by that received in turn from manufacturers such as Panasonic.

In a very bright room or where only a small screen is required then the normal advice is to opt for an LCD becuase they are better in areas of high ambient light. However for screen sizes above 37" plasma is often deemed better because it offers more detailed blacks and richer colours compared to LCD and most critically (particularly for video) controls fast moving action with precision avoiding the lagging and picture smearing present on many LCD panels.

If you would like to speak to someone who will be able to understand your situation and assist without bombarding you with unnecessary jargon then please call us on 01749 674767 or click here and someone will call you back.
