Once the Activote for PowerPoint® software has been installed onto a computer, an additional toolbar is available within Microsoft PowerPoint®. Icons on the toolbar enable handsets to be set up and questions to be created using the ‘Slide Wizard’.
When the presentation is started and a voting slide is shown, the presenter simply invites the audience to respond by clicking the icon on screen. The audience then presses a button on their handset which corresponds with their chosen answer. The presenter stops the response session when desired and moves on. At the end of the presentation, results can be displayed automatically and instantaneously in Excel® or they can be saved for use later.
